Schwarzenegger emerged as a fully-fledged movie star in CONAN THE BARBARIAN, Star Trek returned to form as the franchise mined its TV origins, Spielberg delivered one of the most-beloved movie adventures of all time with E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL, the commercial failure of Ridley Scott's BLADE RUNNER and John Carpenter's THE THING hasn't stopped either film from being regarded as Classics, TRON pushed the boundaries of what "Animated" movies could be, Sylvester Stalllone reinvented himself as John Rambo in FIRST BLOOD and Eddie Muprhy became an Action Comdey superstar in Walter Hill's 48 HRS.
