1984 movie highlights

1984 wasn't quite 1982, but it certainly delivered its share of outstanding Science Fiction and Horror films. Despite these two genres being well represented, Action and Adventure cut through with audiences, as INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM and BEVERLY HILLS COP dominated at the Box Office as Harrison Ford and Eddie Murphy proved their star-powered worth. The power of ensemble Comedy also proved its worth, with the Bill Murray-led GHOSTBUSTERS slotting in between Murphy and Ford in the Number Two spot for the 1984 North American Box Office crown!
