1991 was an interesting year for genre movies...

Freddy Krueger was killed off, the cre  of the U.S.S. Enterprise were pensioned off and Bruc Willis struggled to find a hit franchise that didn't have the words "Die" and "Hard" in them.

Head and shoulders above everything else stood TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY. Not just a sequel, the second instalment in the James Cameron Science Fiction franchise revolutionized visual effects for films and raised the bar for Action films to the cinematic equivalent of Shakespeare.
